We introduce you to the course and find out what style of learning you prefer. You'll discover the program evaluation criteria, practical assessments and how you're graded.

Techniques, Training and Practices
In this section, you will begin exploring yoga on your mat. You'll learn about asana, definitions, topics of terminology. You'll work through poses and variations you can offer your students

Pranayama
We'll explore together what pranayama is, the three parts to breath followed by the holistic benefits. You'll be shown 10 different pranayama techniques plus all their variations to share in your class

Bandhas
One of the most effective tools to practice, you'll learn to safely integrate bandhas and how they benefit longterm energetic practice.

Meditation
Meditation is an exquisite existence of interconnectedness of every living thing. In this section, we'll define meditation carving this practice into your daily wellbeing and inner practice as a yoga teacher.

Subtle Body
We introduce you to the seven subtle bodies or the chakras. You'll learn the yogic history of consciously cleansing, balancing and meditating on this element of 'self'. You'll dive deeper into each characteristic, quality, shadow, asana and symptoms of imbalance.

Mudras
A subtle healing modality is known as the Mudra. A Mudra may involve the whole body or be a simple hand position. Here we'll perform and study this concept and how to integrate into your practice.

Chanting
Here we focus your attention on sacred invocation and the force field created through mantra.

Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics
Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics are the foundation topics of understanding as a GOOD Yoga Teacher. We begin with the basics then explore alignment, joints, muscles and bones to best support your students success.

Drishti
Drishti is to the eyes what asana is to the body. You'll explore 9 drisht points and practice tuning into these inner sensations of energy.

History of Yoga
Study the understanding of yoga, where it came from and why it's so popular today. In this section, we'll cover how yoga came to the west, a historical timeline and the Bhagavad Gita.

Styles of Yoga
In this unit you'll study the styles of yoga including modern styles taught in western cultures. We cover an overview of Pre-Natal, Yin, Restorative and the difference between Hatha and Vinyasa. This certification qualifies you to safely teach Hatha and Vinyasa Styles.

Yoga Philosophy
The yoga sutras are the stitches that bind our consciousness to live life wholly and completely. Through our movement practice, we're ready to add the 8 Limbs of Yoga to our practice to understand how the tools of yoga help support mental health and wellbeing.

Mandala
Study the circular matrix and healing powers from the sacred centre. These sacred circles have existed and used as healing tools for relaxation, creativity, invocation and support. You are guided through this unit by a practicing Buddhist.

Kryas
Learn how these cleansing practices were used by the ancient yogis to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Ayurveda
We introduce the traditional medicine of India which is now practiced in many parts of the world. Try the online quiz to determine your predominant Dosha.

Ethics and Authenticity
Becoming a Yoga Teacher emerges from our understanding and realisation of many parts of yoga. Before we step onto our teaching mat we must have a sound understanding of pre-screening, workplace policies, procedures and expectations. In this unit, we cover all of the above linked with the Yamas & Niyamas a guide to yoga ethics in the modern world.

Your Professional Essentials
You are almost ready to teach your first class by now. In this unit we cover sequencing, language and confidence. Another important tool to embrace is using silence to do the heavy lifting.

Assisting and Adjusting
Getting to know your students can be a challenge. Supporting them using our 3 'C's' are types of physical touch, asking permission, providing hands-on assist, yoga props and personal boundaries.

Professional Development
You are now eligible to enter the business workshop where you'll learn how to facilitate workshops, retreats and further your knowledge with continuous study.

What is the 200 HOUR Program?
The 200 Hour program is the first step to becoming a certified Yoga Teacher. You must hold this qualification if teaching public courses to obtain insurance. Other credentialing includes a First Aid and CPR certificate. Once this qualification is obtained, the student can teach or instruct yoga within their community. This qualification is recognised globally. You do not need to meet any pre-requisites to enrol in this program.
