About the Training
This 50hr course combines a blended delivery with online and in-person training. This immersive, playful edge combines the elements of yoga and fitness into your practice. Suitable for all levels of fitness from the more shy beginners who swing low enjoying the restorative aspect to the high flyers. This course teaches all options to all levels leaving you feeling empowered, successful and engaged in your day.

Develop your practical aerial yoga teaching skills through interactive labs and workshops focused on asana, technique and safe use of the aerial hammock.
Explore foundational poses, transitions, inversions, conditioning exercises and restorative applications while learning effective cueing, demonstration and spotting techniques. You will practise adapting movements through appropriate progressions and regressions, helping you confidently create safe, inclusive and engaging aerial yoga classes for participants with different abilities and experience levels.
Develop a practical understanding of anatomy and biomechanics through flexible, self-paced online learning. This component explores the musculoskeletal system, joint actions, movement patterns, posture and the physical principles relevant to aerial yoga.
You will learn how the body responds to suspension, support, inversion and changes in load, helping you make informed decisions when selecting, adapting and teaching aerial yoga movements. The focus is on applying anatomical knowledge to safe instruction, effective cueing and appropriate progressions and regressions for different participants.
Participants must hold a recognised 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate before commencing the Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Program. Evidence of certification may be requested during enrolment.Toggle Content
