Congratulations on your decision to become a Yoga Teacher with Yoga Flow. Taking the first step in online learning is easy, it’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. The course is open for 12 months, meaning your access will expire after this time if left incomplete.
I encourage you to use the program manual to support your learning and refer to each quiz section for ease of understanding and retention. If you’d like to purchase a hardcopy manual, you can do so via the online shop.
This training is grounded in both tradition and science. While we honour the roots of yoga, this course is also evidence-based, integrating anatomy, biomechanics, and modern movement science to support safe, effective, and meaningful teaching. You’ll develop an understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and responds giving you confidence to teach with purpose and clarity.
The course uses Sanskrit in some parts, as this is the traditional yogic terminology for asana and other limbs of yoga. You are not expected to learn a new language; however, you will be required to name two asana (poses) in your video practicum assessment.
Over the duration of the Teacher Training, you will be invited to explore, immerse, and apply the teachings of yoga within your own life and community.
